For more than 90 years (since 1913) Sir Charles Exclusive Furriers has been a leading designer of Fur Fashions for an ever increasing clientele that now reaches coast to coast!

Still very active in the business is “Sir Charles”, Charles Simpson, has not slowed down very much as he works daily and passes on the great Furrier tradition to his daughter Pamela Simpson Amende and her husband Kurt.

Having earned and maintained the prestigious title of “Furrier”, the Sir Charles company is involved in every aspect of the business from the complete design, re-design, & repair of many Fur products, to sales, estate appraisals, and the ever important, after the sale, services of repairs, glazing, cleaning & conditioning and cold storage.

Despite its many years, Sir Charles continues to grow, adding three new employees this year while planning two more very soon. There is also the current project of a 2000 sq. ft. expansion of their facility.

One of the important additions of the new family management team of Pamela and Kurt has been the expansion of their Sir Charles “storefront” via the Internet but with an interesting twist. . . . . . .

“We will never be, nor do we ever want to be, an unpersonalized mega-volume Fur retailer," Pamela says. "The old Furrier traditions are still alive in our 3rd generation household. What we do want is to offer our excellent & growing Furrier service and elegant Fur inventory to the many people who appreciate both the Furrier traditions and the original traditions of the family owned business. We are equally proud of both.”

For that reason there is no “shopping cart” for Furs on this site. Selecting and caring for a quality Fur fashion is a much more personal affair, and personal service, via the Internet or here in our beautiful “bricks & mortar” store is what Sir Charles is all about.
